RESEARCH — PATHWAY LIBRARY

The pathways behind the catalog.

A plain-language map of the biological pathways our compounds are studied against. Everything here summarizes research-model findings — non-clinical, educational, and strictly research-use-only. No dosing, no human-use guidance.

SECTION 01 — RESEARCH BRIEFS

One brief per major pathway.

Each brief explains what a pathway is and how the associated compounds are examined in laboratory research. These educational briefs do not establish the identity or purity of a specific batch; check the linked listing for its documentation status.

MS Tissue-signaling research

Angiogenesis & VEGFR2

Angiogenesis and fibroblast migration are cellular processes measured in non-clinical models. Compounds in this family are cataloged for VEGFR2–nitric-oxide signaling and actin-driven migration markers. All work is in-vitro or pre-clinical and does not describe a human outcome.

MB Metabolic

Incretin signaling

Incretins are gut-derived hormones — chiefly GLP-1 and GIP — that potentiate glucose-dependent insulin secretion. The triple agonist in this family is studied in metabolic models for how combined GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptor engagement influences insulin signaling, energy expenditure and satiety circuits. Findings are pathway-level and pre-clinical.

GH GH Secretagogue

The growth-hormone axis

The GH axis is governed by two complementary receptors on pituitary somatotrophs — the GHRH receptor and the ghrelin / GHS receptor. The GHRH analogue in this family is studied for how it stimulates pulsatile GH release in endocrine research models. Research is confined to receptor-binding and release dynamics.

CM Cellular & Mitochondrial

Mitochondrial signaling

Mitochondria do more than produce energy; they also send signals that shape how a cell responds to metabolic stress. The mitochondrial-derived peptide in this family is studied for AMPK-pathway activation and for its stress-induced role in nuclear gene regulation in metabolic models. None of this is an anti-aging or health claim.

NP Neuropeptide

Neurotrophic & cognition

Neurotrophic factors such as BDNF and NGF support the maintenance and plasticity of neurons. The ACTH-derived heptapeptide in this family is studied in cognition and neuroprotection models for its modulation of those factors and of monoaminergic signaling. All work is in cell and animal models and makes no cognitive claim.

CS Skin & Cosmetic

ECM & collagen

The extracellular matrix (ECM) is the scaffold of collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans that surrounds cells. The copper-binding tripeptide in this family is studied for how it delivers copper and shifts fibroblast gene-expression tied to matrix remodeling. Findings come from cultured-cell and skin-research models only.

SECTION 02 — HOW TO READ A STUDY

What a finding does and doesn't say.

Research language is precise, and it is easy to over-read. Three lenses keep a result in its lane — what was tested, what was measured, and what it actually implies.

A Model type

In-vitro vs. animal

In-vitro means cultured cells or isolated proteins in a dish — clean for isolating a single pathway. Animal models add a living system's complexity. Neither is a human study, and a signal in one does not carry to the next by default.

  • Cell culture isolates a mechanism
  • Animal work adds systemic context
  • Human relevance is not implied
B Endpoint

What was measured

An endpoint is the specific thing a study records — receptor binding, a gene-expression shift, a migration rate, a mass-spec identity. These are pathway markers, not outcomes. A changed marker describes biology under study, not a benefit.

  • Markers, not health results
  • Measured under defined conditions
  • Reported against controls
C Interpretation

What "studied for" means

When we say a compound is studied for a pathway, we mean researchers have investigated that mechanism — not that an effect is established, approved, or fit for any use. That is precisely why every item here is research-use-only.

  • Investigated, not established
  • No therapeutic reading
  • RUO by design

SECTION 03 — REFERENCE STANDARDS

Read the research. Check the record.

These briefs summarize research topics. A catalog description is not a batch test result; check the product page for its current documentation status.

01 Characterized

Defined catalog material

Listings identify the catalog material and its research context. Formula and mass appear where applicable; the GHK-Cu / BPC-157 / TB-500 Blend listing is a blend.

02 Tested

Review batch documentation

Ten peptide listings have published COAs from Freedom Diagnostics LLC. AquaSEQ is a laboratory supply with no COA. View Lab Results. Ask the research desk for the relevant record before ordering.

03 Traceable

Check the product record

Each product page shows whether a Certificate of Analysis has been published. Pending means there is no verified batch result to review online.
